Nora Libertun

Strategy Director

Over the last 20 years, through her perseverance and global experience, Nora has risen to the highest level in the field of urban development. She brings outstanding value to the team with her experiences as a former director of planning for NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, urban development lead specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank, adjunct associate professor at Columbia University, and member of Harvard University Mexican Cities Initiative. Nora, an expert in urbanization and sustainability, has managed a portfolio of $1.5 billion in sovereign loans for affordable housing and urban development projects in the Latin American and Caribbean Region, $1 billion in federal and municipal funds for urban parks in New York City, and $2.5 million in research grants for climate change, gender, and diversity. She has also published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers and 30 chapters and monographs on urbanism, and serves as a member of various technical committees. Nora holds a PhD in urban and regional planning from MIT, a master's in urban design from Harvard University, and a master’s in architecture from the University of Buenos Aires.
